ATLP's Brand new V3-R J-Pipe Preview

ATLP has been a household name in Honda and Acura V6 exhaust for 10 years now, and has been a Heeltoe in-house brand since 2010. One of the things that keeps us on top of our game all these years is continually evolving our product line.

For the 2004-08 Acura TL, the J-pipe landscape is really very broad. On one end you have the ATLP V2 with it's short runners and best peak power, and on the other end there is the RV6 V3 with the merge near the back flange for great response and power off the line. In the middle the ATLP V2-R, XLR8 V2, and EndlessRPM products favor midrange power.

For our next pipe we decided to combine as many great features as we could into a solid performer that left nothing on the table.

We came up with the ATLP V3-R.

FEATURES:

  • Short front tubes for great top end power, but slightly longer than the V2 for balanced low-end performance
  • 3" collector for maximum flow out of the merge
  • Formed to get the absolute most ground clearance possible
  • Optional 3rd high flow cat can be welded in before shipping
  • Proper fit on Accords

Fitment on 7th gen Accords has been an issue in the past. All of the current J-pipes on the market were made for the 3rd gen TL, and mostly the Type-S. It has always been assumed that the same pipe fit on an Accord, too. We found that not too be the case, so we designed the ATLP V3-R FIRST on an Accord to make sure it cleared the subframe, and then confirmed fit on the TL later. So Accord people, we expect you will be quite happy!

In order to tuck the ATLP V3-R pipe to the max, we make a specially located deformation in the pipe just before the flex. This helps get the pipe up super high, but also not contact the Accord subframe.

The ATLP V3-R should be launching by the beginning of December, and we are really very excited about it!
