Heeltoe took the torsion-bar torch and ran with it!

In February of 2017 we announced that we brought Honda-car torsion bars BACK as all other producers of these parts for these items fell to the way-side. At the time we announced 24mm and 27mm bars in stock and shipping, and also that more sizes would be coming later.

Today, the news is, LATER IS HERE as 30mm bars have now been added to the lineup.

We suggested that 29 and 31 sizes would be added, mimicking previously available sizes from other producers. After technical review of the product and our capability, Heeltoe found that those sizes seemed impractical as 29mm wasn't much of a step over 27mm bars we already made, and that 31mm size actually exceeds the overall diameter of the large-end splined section.

30mm bars were found to be a great compromise. And now they are here!

Now, those of you with high cornering-load demands can enjoy a little more roll-resistance in those turns. 30mm bars aren't for everyone, but for those whom they are the right choice we are happy to meet the call.

Confused about which bars to choose for your Civic, CRX, or Integra?

News about Integra fitments:

The unfortunate news here is that while we did plan to produce torsion bars in an Integra-specific length, which is longer than Civic or CRX bars, market analysis rendered that plan unrealistic. This is largely due to the market demand being too small in relation to the minimum production volume needed to produce parts at a reasonable cost. We'll cover this topic in more detail in a follow up blog article.

Thanks for reading and please do your best to let your online and in-person #torsionbarhondas friends that Heeltoe is in your corner for all the parts we can come up with for your special, cult-ish Honda-car!
