Details

Progress Suspension anti-roll bars (or sway bars) dramatically improve handling by reducing the traction-robbing body ügleanüh that rolls part of the outside tires off the pavement. Progress Groups's Sport-tuned Anti-roll bars replace skinny OEM bars and rubber bushings with larger diameter (stiffer) alloy steel bars and polyurethane bushings. More roll stiffness means less body ügleanüh, and the tires stay flatter on the pavement (larger contact patches). The result is more grip and added driver control!

  • Less body roll means more traction, faster cornering speeds, and increased driver confidence.
  • Polyurethane bushings produce crisp response on turn-in.
  • A rear sway bar system for 2007-2012 Acura RDX AWD vehicles. The upgraded rear anti-sway bar will be an upgraded OEM replacement, 22mm (solid) diameter, with two rate-adjustment holes in the moment arms.
  • Installation does not impact alignment angles
  • Ride quality is not impacted over straight roads; only noticeable while cornering or traversing uneven surfaces.

Progress Anti-roll bars are cold-formed in-house using custom-built precision bending equipment. Both laser-cut and CNC bar ends are MIG welded in place using a precise fixture for an exact fit.

For best street performance results, use in conjunction with a sports springs.

Customer Questions

Q:

How much of a difference is there between the soft and hard settings? Is the hard setting advisable for an RDX used solely as a "spirited" daily driver, or is the soft setting better?

A:

It is a mild but noticeable difference. This is for fine tuning the bar for your driving style and needs; don't consider the adjustment to make this "two bars in one." We would probably suggest using the softer setting unless you have other upgraded suspension items, such as Eibach springs or BC Racing dampers.

first impressions on this are good I set it on the soft setting. I believe that I'll need more time to be able to find the limits.

ill adjust the other ratings after further review. < I mean track time
  • Great Improvement February, 11
By Matthew Szwed, Street Performance Enthusiast
The Progress rear sway bar is a great improvement over the stock RDX sway bar. Even on the softer of the two settings there's a noticeable improvement in body roll and stiffness. The installation was also quick and easy with good instructions and should take under 2 hours for those with some mechanical know-how. All in all I couldn't be happier and I definitely recommend it to all the RDX owners out there.
  • Serious upgrade over stock February, 11
    By Tom W, Spirited/Stylish Commuter
Bar looks great, installs easily, and with the two adjustable settings you have one option stiffer than stock, and one that would work great on a track. Comes with easy instructions and upgraded bushings as well.
