The plastic header (or nose) panels on the first generation CRXs are notorious for cracking, even with the utmost care. The stock plastic becomes brittle and breaks even on cars that are rarely used. This material is used extensively on the CRX, on the side skirts, the lower half of the doors, on the front fenders, and on the nose piece (we refer to it as a header panel).

Medieval-Pro offers a very high end fiberglass replacement part for the genuine header panel for restoration use. These panels are direct OEM replacement parts, and fit with no or very little modification needed.

  • Direct replacement
  • Quality suitable for restorations
  • Carbon Fiber reinforcement in stressed areas
  • Pre-drilled holes
  • Fiberglass cloth underlayment for strength over matted layup
  • Hand made from raw material in the USA

The parts fit all 84-87 CRX models. This part is a 100% direct replacement on all 1984-87 CRX models with flush-mount or recess-mount headlamps.

The surface finish on these panels is a hard black gelcoat finish which will require minimal prep and is essentially ready for paint. The finish is flat and smooth.

I replaced my broken 1987 plastic header panel, with this fiberglass one. Very nice quality and fitment. All holes are pre-drilled for radiator support holes and the side mounting brackets. Nice smooth gel coat was able to make paint look very smooth, with no prep.
