Supply Note: PRE-SALE. Springs to ship in Jan-Feb 2019

Add an aggressive stance to your first generation RDX with approximately 1.3" lowering in front, and 1.0" lowering in rear. Slightly firmer progressive-rate springs maintain a factory-like ride with increased handling.

Eibach Springs, world renowned producer of coil springs for nearly every vehicular application, had boldly produced a sport Pro-Kit Spring set for the Acura RDX, a sporty, compact luxury SUV. Unfortunately, the RDX was a slow seller, and therefore so were the springs. Eibach promptly discontinued the Pro-Kit Spring set after only one production run.

Being Acura advocates, and having industry contacts at Eibach, Heeltoe Automotive saw fit to contract Eibach to do a limited run of RDX springs to be sold under the exclusive ATLP brand. Acura enthusiasts equate ATLP with style and quality; traits that perfectly describe this spring set.

Heeltoe Automotive is the only place to purchase sports springs for the 2007-12 RDX and it is hard to say that any more will be made once these are gone. Act now, before the ship sails!

Lowering the RDX results in mild toe and camber change, so an alignment is needed after installation. Note that it is NOT enough of a change to cause dramatic alignment issues such as one gets with full coilover damper kits.

Customer Questions

What kind of camber changes do you typically see with these springs? If I remember correctly, camber is difficult to adjust on RDXs. Can it be corrected with an alignment?

You will see some additional negative camber with these springs, but because these springs do not drop the car aggressively it is not enough to cause a major issue with the alignment. The additional camber will help grip in harder cornering. Just be sure to get an alignment after installing the springs to get the toe angle dialed in!

More aggressively lowering kits, such as the BC Racing coilovers, will cause more of an issue with the camber and toe, resulting in unwanted inner tire wear.

Will these springs fit on the 2016 rdx?

This spring set will only fit on first generation RDXs, not second generation or later models.

  • Rides even better than stock June, 25

Great product. Good fitment. Not too bad of an install. Ride height is perfect, and the ride quality is top notch. I live in a metro area with 100 year old roads and these have honestly increased the ride quality. I was blown away.
  • Totally agree with the above September, 30

With these springs the RDX has far less squat and dive. I've had these springs on the RDX for a year now. I think they do slightly accelerate wear on the shock absorbers, but such is life. The vehicle rides much more assuredly. You get a stiffer spring and drop an inch and it improves the dynamics without changing anything drastically.
  • A must have upgrade April, 22

Had my local Acura dealer install them for me and I immediately noticed how awesome the stance looks. The front camber is in spec, but rear camber is slightly out of spec. Regular tire rotations with the services should prevent inner tread wear. The ride quality is improved, the ride is more secure and tight, with less jounce. The big improvement is on turns. Body roll and squat is reduced. I love it!
