saves a little gas, better performance, great item for a reasonable price. I took out my Resonator and I noticed that this air filter performs better than the OEM one when the resonator is removed. Even with the resonator still in the car, this filter isnt really as much louder than the OEM filter, but it just performs better by letting more air in your engine, which is the result of saving gas and expanding engine life.

This is a great value by being reusable and with a price tag slightly higher than the single use OEM filters, this pays for itself within a year or two. Performance-wise there is improved throttle response, a subtle power improvement, and a slight increase in sound (very subtle). I noticed that my fuel economy improved by a little over 3 mpg. Very pleased with my purchase and this filter can be used in the CTE (formerly Comptech Intake), for even better throttle response and a throatier intake tone.
