HT-Spec Modified Maintenance Kit A, Oil Change (every 3750 miles)
- Kit Includes:
- One oil filter of your choice.
- Enough oil to change your oil one time, taking filter volume into account. (We'll send the OE spec weight unless you request otherwise by calling or emailing)
- An aluminum oil filter crush washer.
- A service reminder decal (coming soon...).
In the interest if reducing costs, manufacturers are enabled by technological advancements to truncate maintenance down to a bare-minimum. Heeltoe has found that the most recent service recommendations from manufacturers have become extended to the point of a fault to the car. Spark plugs which will last well over 100,000 miles are found to become inferior in operation as low as 60,000 miles. Oil changes every 5,000 miles are recommended however filter replacement is dictated every 10,000 miles. And transmission fluids are scarcely recommended to be changed at any point before 100,000 miles. Brake fluid, every 3 years when water contamination sets in well before this point resulting in a squishy brake pedal.
Heeltoe knows that the majority of technicians and car enthusiasts prefer to change maintenance items more frequently than these factory recommendations.
