Hey there Heeltoe Customers! We are pleased to announce that as of 5/1/09 Heeltoe Automotive is an authorized dealer of System One Advanced Polishing System Products! Like many of you, we are fans of cars, and no proper car is swirly, gritty, grimy, or plain old ugly. When the lady down the street grabs the dish soap to wash her Altima, we cringe. Luckily, down the other street from us is a distributor for System One!

I had attended an enlightening seminar at Meguiar's facility one day by virtue of an Acurazine meeting where it was impressed upon us that polishing a car was a multi-step process. One would need to move from heavier compounds to lighter ones to get the perfect shine. It seemed like there must have been 50 different compounds! My head was spinning. I had unwittingly resolved myself to settling for this morbid truth; That polishing my car was going to take about 12 hours to do and require a $300 investment in tools and products.

Oh, how I was wrong! It all started with the Tealtoe Civic back in late 2006. The car's paint literally felt like sandpaper. And after a little clay and a little polish the Tealtoe was shining. It was rather convenient and the product worked really very well!

Look ma! An overworked web/car-geek can do it!

It's supposed to be black, but it's grey!
Fast forward a few years to 2009 and I found myself with another "daily beater." This one decidedly much more beat than the Tealtoe! With over 220,000 miles this 1990 Integra, while mechanically a champ, certainly looked tired! The first thing that came to mind was, "I wonder how good the paint is under there?" Well, I could go into a long drawn out discussion about it, but I think I will let the pictures do the talking here.

After a polish the black cambe back!
If you had the patience to get through those pics you will probably notice how lusterous the car became. Far from a showstopper, but certainly impressive for a 20 year old car with such a long life on the road!

Even more compelling are these YouTube Clips of System One in action!
This car was scratched pretty bad in places. I was AMAZED at how well it came out!

  The waxing was stupid-easy!

System One Works great with a Random Orbital Polisher as well!

Best of all, you don't need shade!!

I know the System One product may be unheard of to most, I've been repairing and painting cars for over 30 years and have been able to achieve the best finish to date with System One, I've tried almost everything else out there at one time or another.

I just did my first buffing job. It was on new paint sanded to 2000. Bought the System One Pro Kit and the better buffer that they offer (1000 to 3000 rpm variable speed). The whole system and buffer cost about 225 to 250 I think.

With absolutely no experience at all I buffed my car to an almost perfect finish with out any problems at all. Real easy!!

I was pretty impressed with my first run at using a rotary.
Very first time with rotary (Makita) using System One (junk hood) - Autopia.org
Fobia, it does work. I was amazed when I saw the swirl marks disappearing and restoring a junkyard trunk to very good condition. I don't think Tom and his company's reputation would have survived very long if it didn't. Autopians would have declared it as total junk and snake oil, which it definitely isn't.

I've used System One briefly and am a newbie... it worked for me.

I tried it on a black 02 Spyder and it worked out really good.
SYSTEM ONE Polish?
I just received my System One polish and tried on a light to moderately swirled hood. I used my Flex and a white CCS pad. It worked great. Every time I use the Flex and get more accustomed to it, I like it more....much better than my PC. System One was easy to work with a performed just fine. No complaints. i have used this polish at least 15 times now...i have used it with many many different pads...i have nothing bad to say about this product at all!! And you can also add water to it if you are working in direct sunlight! I tried it and it worked awesome! NEW! System One!!! - Page 18 - Auto Geek Car Care, Car Wax and Auto Detailing Forum

Get a Chicago Electric rotary from Harbor Freight for $25, and order the System One Pro kit for ~$90-100. That gives you polish, an Edge adapter, foam/wool pad, a training DVD, and a rotary. Been using it myself now, and I can't recommend it enough! Believe it or not, I find it works better the warmer it is outside! Fantastic product! Then just top it off with your favorite wax. I've used it and have to say this is one of the best polishes I've used in a LONG time. The high points to me is definitely that I can use the one product for cutting and polishing but also I love that it is a water based polish. That means that if you get it on trim or let it dry... clean-up is VERY easy.

I actually bought the System 1 before Christmas. A gift to myself. This is a very good product. I also like the spray wax. I saw where someone was comparing this to Meg's Solo. I do not have that product, but the System 1 does what it says it will do!

From my limited use of it due to the weather here it has worked as advertised. I just ordered a pro kit and had it shipped to my brother who details in Georgia to try out. Great product.

system one polish is awesome...i love the feel of it...its soooo smooth...also water-based, and awesome for working in sunlight.

System One X3 Polish - Auto Geek Car Care, Car Wax and Auto Detailing Forum
Well the problem with the solo system is that it is for fresh paint not cured like we work on. The System one polish works as advertised. I have purchased it and had done some spot testing with it and love the results. Toto has used it several of his recent posts. Don't knock it until you try it .It finishes down to a menzerna 106ff look .try it you may like it .The wax works pretty good as well. This system was designed by a body shop and that is Tom the guy in the video and he produces the product in his shop. System One? Jay Leno - Autopia Car Detailing Forum
The System One X3 did a nice job on the oxidation. A wool pad with the X3 easily cut through the oxidation with a rotary polisher. He then flipped the pad over to a polishing pad and with the same product he resorted more gloss and made the finish quite reflective. Our Trip to Mobile Tech Expo - Auto Geek Car Care, Car Wax and Auto Detailing Forum
This is the 6th car I've used X3 on and I'm getting familiar with working it. It is definitely a time saver for me (est. 30%) as I only have to use 1 product for compounding and polishing. What I really like is to be able to go back to an area I didn't correct enough and hit it with a wool pad, then foam pad ... and I'm done. When I used 3M Extra Cut, it was painful to say the least! BMW X5 (black of course) with System One Polish - Autopia Car Detailing Forum
The new system makes the final polishing and buffing much easier, and it only uses one compound to produce a finish second to none. Show Quality Paint Jobs With Color Sanding - Custom Classic Trucks Magazine
I would recommend this system to anyone.. I see it good for experienced or someone new to buffing. SYSTEM ONE REVIEW - Autobody 101 Forum
If you are looking to get a flawless finish, ready for waxing, there is no faster or easier way to get there than System One. I highly recommend it. My review of SYSTEM ONE polish - CustomTacos.com Forum
system one and wool looked very good. but after the foam, the paint looks amazing

The Meg's Solo system does not work with cured paints (which is our mainstay). It was designed expressly for fresh paint only. The SYSTEM ONE Polish works great on cured paint and I also understand on new paint as well.  So, there's no comparison when it comes to cured paint. System One does the job.

I've used Trizact in the last 50+ BMW's for reconditioning and this is equal to or even better with less steps and time spent on the finish.

Tried System One one my Headlights today....WOW...I was impressed.....They were beginning to get yellow/opaque on me but System One greatly improved them........... System One Polish Really Works..... - CustomTacos.com Forum
For heavy swirls on customer cars, I'd also highly recommend the SYSTEM ONE Polish Pro Kit. This is a single product for both swirl removal and polishing (you change pads, not product). I've done several cars and it works well. looking to buy Menzerna for the first time - Bimmerforums - The Ultimate BMW Forum
I am the one who started the thread regarding the system one and the X3 compound.. It is still all I use, and have gotten my ole buddy JCCLARK to get some as well.. I have seen the set up Mirror Glaze has out and even the guys at my mirror glaze store says it sucks. I personally cant say if it does or not since I have not used it, however I can attest to the System One products and customer service.. Best in Class in my opinion. System One or SOLO?- Autobody 101 Forum?
I've been evaluating the System One Polish product (X3 polish) for use in the shop. This is the 4th car I've used it on and am very satisfied with the results.

I have the Meguiar's Solo system and found it is for newly painted cars only. It does not work on cured paint (which is 99% of my work).

Beautiful 645Ci Finished using System One Polish - Bimmerforums - The Ultimate BMW Forum
I'd say it works like optimum compound (but doesn't leave a haze...you use it and can see your progress) on the wool side and Menzerna 106 on the polish side. I really like seeing my progress as I work. One of the problems Meguiar's So1o has (besides only working on new paint in a body shop), is you are trying to gauge your work through a haze. The System One usage really shows where you are...and if you missed an area (like I did on the Viper fender), flip back to the wool and correct where you missed. With 3M, it was tough because you had to use the compound and started the dusting all over again. Black Viper Swirled to Toto Treated - Auto Geek Car Care, Car Wax and Auto Detailing Forum
I'm really starting to favor the System One product. It's a time saver and works as advertised...can't ask for much more than that. Silver BMW 645Ci - Stunning Completion - Detailing World
if you really want to cut your time in half check out system one polish kit...I wet sand for a living and I started to use this stuff in 2000 and it the only stuff I will use its well worth the money. you will love it and if you don't ill buy off you NEW Meguiars Solo System One Cut/Polish... - Autopia Car Detailing Forum

SYSTEM ONE Wax Reviews

I used this stuff this weekend on my Moms Jeep. Easy to use, easy on/off. Very nice Smoooooooooth results. I can say right now, its better than Turtle Wax "Ice", Meguiar's "Spray wax/detailer", and Dupont "Teflon Wax".

Like I have said in other posts and forums here, I have been using the System One products for about a year now and have always been very happy with them. Last time I used the spray wax, I did glass, chrome, rims and all rubber trim with it, and I know for a fact that you cant do that with too many other products

System One Wax (93300) - CustomTacos.com Forum
I used System One wax on my Tacoma today. This was the easiest product I have ever used. SUPER easy on. I let it bake in 105* direct sunlight for 30 min. Easy off! After I buffed it off, the truck was SMMMOOOOOTH. Right up there with the "best" products (paste, cream, spray waxes). I sprayed it on my plastics, rubber, chrome, everything. It didn't discolor the plastics or rubber, and it shined up the chrome nicely! Official System One Test (for me anyway) - CustomTacos.com Forum
Tried this stuff last week on my Civic and it worked great. Yesterday used it on my truck. It's just like his ad, easy on an off and the best part is that I can use it on a wet vehicle.

I would definitely recommend this product to anyone who wants to cut their detailing time in half and have a better quality finish.
