Heeltoe Automotive : How our Practical Parts Reviews and Ratings System works!

Read below for tips on how to best fill out reviews and ratings!
LINK HERE TO FIND OUT HOW TO GET PAID TO WRITE REVIEWS!
Step 1: Go to a product on Heeltoeauto.com, preferably one you have bought and used. It doesn't matter if you still have it or not, as long as you have experience with the part!
Step 2: Check out the features and layout in the following image.
    A Word On Ratings:
  • When reviewing parts like exhausts and suspension, there will be different options for the ride or sound. So not all parts will be rated with the same method! * This feature was developed especially for HeeltoeAuto.com!
  • Be critical. Don't say the Performance/Function is Excellent when the part barely a difference. This about how the part fit and rate it correctly!

    Tips For Reviewing:
  • You are limited to 1000 characters. That is about 10 sentences: just enough to get your point across!
  • Write a bit more than "love it, would buy again." It is much better to say what you love about it! What did it do to your car that you love?.
  • Keep it mature. Heeltoe staff will monitor each review to make sure it is not obscene.
  • If you bought your parts from some one of our competitors, don't advertise our competitors on our site! We will x-out the names or links of competitors. That should be understandable...put yourself in our shoes!
  • If you did buy your parts at Heeltoe, please feel free to make a comment about your experience!
  • If you have a complaint, here is the place to lodge it!
  • Reviews with type-o's and misspelled words will reduce your review's credibility. Try typing reviews in a word processor and spell check before submitting.
Step 3: A HUGE innovation in the review system on Heeltoeauto.com is the ability to choose what sort of user you are. If you are a "grocery getter" you might not appreciate the sound you get from an exhaust that was reviewed as being "perfect sounding, only loud when you floor it" by someone who is a street performance driver. Everyone has a different idea of what "loud" is. A suspension that rides "comfortably" and "handles much better than stock" to a commuter is probably too soft for a track driver. Choosing your user type will help readers understand where you are coming from, and it makes your review much more useful to them!
    Find Your "User Type":
If you don't fit into one of these categories, choose the one that matches you most generally.
  • Grocery Getter: This driver is conservative. They drive their car daily for going to work, the store, picking up kids, or other practical tasks. This driver values comfort and economy over performance. Most of the time they like their car the way it is, and just want tweak a few things on it to personalize it. For example, they might want to lower the car without changing ride or handling at all, or might want more power without any extra sound or vibration.
  • Spirited/Stylish Commuter: This customer values more impacting visual performance or appearance upgrades, but still prefers to keep the good qualities of the car intact. If the ride gets a bit firmer or the exhaust a bit louder in the name of improved function or style that is alright to this driver. Overall enhancements will be mild, mostly to make driving more fun and to make the co-workers just a bit envious. They might push the envelope of their tolerances a bit, but are not unlikely to sell off parts at a loss that they don't like.
  • Street Performance Enthusiast: This driver is more likely to floor it 4-5 times on the way home from work. If a canyon road is on the way (or even out of the way) that is part of the normal commute. No on-ramp is taken off-line, and each off-ramp is a threshold-braking experience. Maximum performance is not the goal since the car still lives on the street, but compromises will be made in comfort for better driving satisfaction. This driver might attend 1-2 track events a year.
  • Track Use or Competition: This driver gets to the track often, either for track days or racing/club events. This driver tests the limits of their car, the parts they buy, and of themselves in the most aggressive driving environment. Style and brand names mean little compared to parts effectiveness. Not to be confused with the street performance enthusiast, this driver uses the parts to their full potential. Parts reviewed by this driver are very valuable when quality is in question, as if there is a problem with a specific product, they will find it!
Step 4: "Add ratings and review" to our system! We will publish them after we get a chance to look them over. We might adjust your rating to reflect your written review as needed. We will make every effort to respect your opinion by not changing anything unless there is a blatant discrepancy!

Once your review is published, it will appear on our site as below!
