Heeltoe Automotive : About Our Company

Heeltoe Automotive, a division of di Sabella Industries, Inc, was founded in 2002 by Marcus di Sabella, based on extensive knowledge of Honda automobile construction, modification, part numbering methods, and Japanese Market variances. We sought to provide a superior service and reasonable prices to discerning customers. To date, we have amassed a vast customer base, to whom we continue to supply products from Japan and the USA.

From early on, Hondas that feature torsion-bar front suspensions (namely the 1984-87 Civics and CRXs, as well as 1986-89 Integras) have held a special place in Marcus' soul. Having owned a number of them himself, it became natural that he would direct Heeltoe Automotive in an area where few other suppliers venture. Providing parts for these chassis, and even making new parts under the Medieval-Pro brand name, has made Heeltoe a cult-favorite in terms of the classic Honda scene.

Supporting smaller companies such as Fastline Performance, Beaks Products, and EM Racing has always been something very special to Heeltoe. Providing products made for specialized needs is something that has been important to Heeltoe, since these grassroots companies substantiate the roots of modern tuning.

The time came in mid 2004 when Fastline Performance, producer of the world famous Fastline Performance Shifter, appeared to be in danger of going out of business. The distinctive products produced and sold by Fastline Performance would have been lost to the world has Heeltoe Automotive not stepped in, purchased the company, and continued production of their products. To this date, all new and innovative products made by di Sabella Industries, Inc. are produced under the Fastline Performance brand.

Since late 2004, with the release of the Acura TSX sports sedan, Heeltoe Automotive had found a new primary focus for sales in the Acura segment, catering to TSX and TL customers. Again catering to the underdog, the aftermarket offerings to these great cars was thin and we made it our mission to pursue excellence in tuning for all sorts of Acura customers. We feel these platforms represent about the best Honda has to offer in terms of a well-functioning chassis. These platforms are now featured as a Heeltoe specialty, and offering a wide range of products for late model Acuras has provided an expansive knowledge of all parts available and how they compare to one another. Heeltoe Automotive is now considered one of the leading consultation providers for products for the Acura TSX, Acura TL, Acura CL, and Honda Accord.

In 2010, a concept of Acura tuning entered the forefront of Heeltoe's marketing focus that centered on upgrading without compromise. Under the marketing name "HT-Spec," Heeltoe is successfully combining parts in packages that are geared toward service our customer's needs for products that are meet minimum standards for quality, functionality, livability and performance. Introducing all-new Staged Brake packages was something unheard of in the Acura tuning world. Later came Bracing packages, Shifter Packages, and more recently a specifically tuned Coilover-Damper System for TSXs and TLs. More packages are planned for release in the coming years as the plan pushes forward to gain a greater share of the Acura market and reach new customers who previously had not considered comprehensive upgrades to their cars.

More recently, in early 2010, Heeltoe has entered the S2000 market, mostly prompted by the knowledge that many of the Acura owners who were already customers also owned these convertible roadsters. Knowing that S2000 customers are discerning and critical people was no concern at all for us as we had eared a reputation ranking us high on people's "like to do business with" list. The S2000 affords us new opportunities to produce products under the Fastline Performance brand and reach further into import aftermarket sales.
