Installation Instructions for S2000 Locking Top Latch Buttons

After noticing a rise in hardtop thefts among S2000 owners, Fastline Performance realized the need for some security measures to be put in place.

The design of Fastline's solution is so simple and elegant it borders on revolutionary. Rather than replace the functioning and reliable OEM latches with larger, clunkier units, or installing bulky brackets to secure the top or latches closed, it was far more classy to simply put interference right at the button. Realizing the S2000 owner as one who would want an integrated product without compromise, the Locking Top-Latch Buttons were born.

Precision machined out of aluminum billets then outfitted with a small yet secure 7-pin combination lock cylinder, these buttons are direct replacement for the OEM latch buttons. We finish them off with black or red hard anodizing to give either a OEM look, or one that says "don't even try opening me!"

To complete the FLP top-security package, we include special security screws and a removal tool to prevent removal of the striker place (the receptacle-end of the OEM latching systemk, the next weakest link after the latches themselves). Also included is a special warning decal for placement in your window to warn would-be thieves that if they want to try to get a hard-top the "easy way" they need to find another one!

Pricing is for a set of two buttons, 4 keys, a set of security screws with removal tool, and a warning decal.
