The surface of the disc rotor includes strategically placed slits to maintain optimal condition of the brake pad surface helping to both create and maintain stable braking force. The 6 slits are designed with width, edge angle, placement, and depth in mind and have been thoroughly tested prior to production. Optimal braking performance can be achieved under the vast majority of circumstances. Street or circuit, this is the high performance brake disc rotor that can follow the needs of the hard driving enthusiast.
