Strengthens front suspension and steering rack mounting positions.

Under cornering forces the front suspension and steering forces can twist the lower subframe, causing a disconnected feeling between the driver and the road. This brace will reinfoce the OEM subframe to prevent excess twisting and giving the driver more confidence and road feel.

I had to remove the front cross-bar so the OEM cat would not rattle against it (mounting flange, not the heat shield). That said, I drove the car with and without the front bar removed, and the effect is virtually identical. The frame rails are still braced to each other, and diagonally to the rear front subframe mounts. Also, I had it powder coated black so that it would be less noticeable. A good brace, still like it better than the cusco even with the front cross bar removed. Cross bars are straight with no bends.
